Overview

The Technical Fit Model/Fit Coordinator is responsible for evaluating the fit and components of footwear so that our technical team and factories can problem-solve, improve, and maintain the consistency of the Tory Burch fit.

Responsibilities

Evaluate the technical fit of all shoes


• Fit all prototypes, SMS, and Fit Approval samples according to calendar milestones
• Provide detailed fit evaluation – good and bad
• Work with manager to recommend solutions to improve the fit


Setup and maintain fit evaluation forms


• Ensure all fit evaluation forms are setup and maintained properly in our shared drive
• Assist Technical Manager in the completion and transmission of evaluation forms
• Submit evaluation forms to hit calendar dates


Track/archive incoming Fit Approval samples


• Partner with sourcing offices to track all incoming shipment
• Problem-solve shipment delays


Schedule fit sessions with stakeholders


• According to sample arrival dates, schedule fit sessions with PD, Technical Manager, and cross-functional partners in Design and Merchandising
• Manage calendar milestones to ensure fittings are completed by planned dates

 

 

Additional Responsibilities

 

• Learn basics of shoe-making
• With guidance of the Technical Manager, become versed in footwear terminologies and proper fit comments so that factories and sourcing office partners can interpret easily

Qualifications

• Must have US Size 7B feet – measurements to be evaluated and approved by the Technical Manager
• College degree or equivalent
• A passion for footwear and understanding how they are made
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office
• Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop skills a plus
• Great organizational skills – in documents as well as in physical product
