Overview

The PR Associate will function as part of the North America Public Relations team and support Tory Burch and Tory Burch Sport national press efforts as well as lead all regional and new store opening initiatives.

Responsibilities

Regional Press

  • Handle all editorial requests for print and digital Tory Burch and Tory Burch Sport directly with editors. 
  • Manage strategy for new store openings
  • Develop new relationships with elevated publications and digital outlets
  • Maintain and update press database

National Print/Digital Press 

  • Oversee coordinating sample requests for Tory Burch and Tory Bruch Sport 
  • Manage all credit requests
  • Foster working industry relationships and attend relevant events
  • Informed with an understanding of the fashion market including key editorial trends, influencers, and key publications and digital site 

Internal Communication

  • Communicate all press bi-weekly for store communication 
  • Oversee Buddy intranet press sends out 
  • Coordinate all internal shoots cross functionally 
  • Manage all monitored and non-monitored Tory Burch and Tory sport credits for accurate DMR reporting

Additional Responsibilities

  • Hiring of seasonal interns 
  • Support a variety of special projects and seasonal initiatives as they arise
  • Brief creative/digital ops teams on seasonal invitations & signage / shoots
  • Fashion Week support including list management, invitation distribution, backstage logistics and front of house support

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree required with 2-4 years work experience in public relations, fashion, marketing or publishing
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Fashion GPS, and working knowledge of social media platforms
