    Overview

    The Distribution Associate for Shipping  is responsible for efficient and accurate shipping of customer orders to our customer base, shipping prep work, cleanliness and organization of the shipping area, and other duties as necessary. This position will ship orders to our ECommerce and Wholesale customers and to our retail and outlet stores both domestically and internationally utilizing all major shipping methods including FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, freight forwarders, or other carriers. This position will work Thursday - Saturday from 7 AM - 7:30 PM. Must be able to work overtime (weekends and holidays) as needed.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure all outbound shipments are accurate and free of chargeback.
    • Create shipping documentation including bills of lading, shipping manifests, shipping labels, and export paperwork. (NAFTA Certs, AES filing)
    • Utilize a UPS Processor to create labels and match them with the correct address to ship to our customers in a timely matter.
    • Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailer in an efficient and safe manner.
    • Load, move and stage product and materials using a Power Jack and Pallet Jack.
    • Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the Power Jack or other equipment.
    • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
    • Work closely with Logistics providers to assure on-time shipments, and be able to build pallets by customer / vendor. Make sure all the merchandise is packaged in good condition and free of chargeback before shipping to our customers.
    • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
    • Must always follow the Tory Burch Safety Standards and Codes of Conduct.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • 3-5 years of experience
    • Basic math skills
    • Requires satisfactory completion of a power jack training program.
    • Experience using the RF scanner.
    • Ability to lift weight from 50 lbs to 75 lbs.
    • Must be willing to work overtime as well as the ability to work on Saturday and Sunday when the need arises.
    • Have a flexible schedule, with ability to load outbound shipments safely and fast.
