Provide merchandising support for the global footwear division. This role will be responsible for following the competitive footwear landscape, helping to build seasonal lineplans and analyzing the business to ensure continued growth. This person will need to have a team attitude as they will be responsible for working with buying, production, design and inventory planning to help develop and support a successful line each season. In addition to attention to detail and business acumen this person will need a passion for product and an eye for trend that is brand right.

• Gain a strong understanding of the Tory Burch customer; visit stores monthly, review new deliveries, and communicate learnings back to the team.
• Gain a firm understanding of the footwear competitive landscape and brand positioning through online research and visiting the market often, and accordingly provide recommendations to drive sales.
• Create and maintain global linesheets; publish accurately and timely tools necessary for market.
• Manage and update all departmental documents to support merchandising team and day to day functions – this includes system updates, merchandising lineplans, and sales analysis documents.
• Partner/respond daily with cross-functional teams on any questions including shipments, sample tracking, costing, product details or any other requests for information. Manage organization of samples for the Global Merchandising team.
• Attend detail meetings- working with design to ensure details are on brand, functional and competitive in the marketplace.
• Build a relationship with all other merchandising teams to create synergy across the Tory Burch collection each season.

• Strong analytic skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• At least 2 years in a merchandising role; footwear experience is a plus
